Farmers market season is coming. The Adrian Farmers Market downtown will open for the season on Saturday, May 2. Market hours are 9 1.m. to 1 p.m.
The Adrian Farmers Market is located in the covered pavilion at the Toledo Street parking lot. It runs from the beginning of May through the end of October.
The market allows only locally grown products and handcrafted items. Vendors are still being accepted; for more information, 517-265-6348. The market’s offerings will include local in-season fruits and vegetables, eggs, baked goods, fresh herbs, cut flowers, handcrafted items, honey and meat. EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Fresh and WIC Senior are accepted.
The market also has a Kids’ Club two weekends per month and music every weekend. Check out their Facebook page for details.
